Ms. S approached Sr. Loreto to see if the kindergarten students could come upstairs to do a science project. The eighth grade students were excellent mentors for the kindergarten students. First the kindergarteners prepared the Skittles rainbow  activity. While waiting for the process to happen, the kindergarteners then proceeded to put drops of food coloring in milk. After that they dipped the end of a cotton swab in Dawn dishwashing soap and put it in the milk. They were surprised with the results and when they checked the Skittles experiment were pleased with the results. Both the eighth graders and the kindergarteners enjoyed working together.
