About Dr. Kingston
Dr. Kingston has been a school administrator for the past 34 year. She holds Ct. Certification as a teacher, intermediate administrator and superintendent. She received a Bachelor's and Masters' degrees in Education from Connecticut College, a 6th year degree from Sacred Heart University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Among Dr. Kingston's numerous awards and achievements she has been a chairperson for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges Accreditation Visiting Team for the past 15 years. She was the recipient of the State of Connecticut General Assemble Citation for her dedication to children and was awarded the Connecticut Center for Child Development Autism Advocacy Award.
Dr. Kingston was born in Nyack, NY, raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Connecticut when her husband , was assigned to the U.S. Navy Submarine Force in New London.

About Sr. Loreto
Sister Loreto entered the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady , Mother Church in 1980. Sister is grateful for what her Congregation is doing for her offering a fostering of the spiritual life, wonderful community life with her fellow Sister, religious formation and a great education.
Sister majored in education at Eastern CT State University from where she earned a BS and Ms. Sister then obtained a port-graduate certificate in Scripture from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. Finally, Sister traveled to Ohio where she studied school leadership at the University of Dayton. It was there she got her MA.
Sister Loreto values her family, friends and fellow Sisters very much. She loved watching her nieces and nephews grow up and is grateful to God for her family. In her spare time, Sister enjoys reading, organizing fun activities in the convent , movies and being out in nature.
Mrs. Deborah Lau

About Mrs. Lau
Mrs. Lau has been a school secretary for over 26 years: first in public school then transferring to Catholic School in 2019. Prior to that she worked for 22 years in the Human Resources Department at the Naval Submarine Base the civilian Data Base Administrator. Mrs. Lau received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve. Mrs. Lau was born in Westerly, Rhode Island but, raised in Pawcatuck, Ct. She moved to Groton in 1994 shortly after her marriage to her husband Scott and shortly before the birth of their only child Meaghan. In addition to her school secretary position she is also the Administrative /Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Norwich. She has previously served as the Assistant to the Director of Religious education and Altar Server Trainer at her parish. Mrs. Lau enjoys reading, entertaining, being with family and counted cross stitch. During the summer you can find her sitting at the beach with a good book.

About Mrs. Goldstein
Mrs. Ali Goldstein teaches the creative and curious Pre-K students at St. Joseph School. She loves St. Joseph School and its faith filled students, families, teachers, and staff. She received a Bachelors Degree in English and a Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts from Eastern Connecticut State University. She holds a teacher certification in the state of CT. God has blessed her to be a wife of 30 years to her husband, mother to three amazing children and grandmother to a beautiful grandson. All glory given to God!

About Mrs. Lamb
Mrs. Lamb has been teaching for over 20 years in Catholic education. She has been at St. Joseph School for 15 Years.
Mrs. Lamb received a bachelor's degree in science and secondary education from Southern Connecticut State University and a master's degree in elementary education from Sacred Heart University.
She holds a Professional Educator Certificate from Connecticut.
Mrs. Lamb enjoys biking, swimming, camping, gardening, and reading, as well as, spending time with her family.

Sister M. Michele Jascenia S.C.M.C., of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church in Baltic, CT has been teaching for approximately thirty years; most of these years have been at Saint Joseph School in Baltic, spent teaching in the third and fourth grades, then for the past ten years or so teaching History and Religion in the upper grades. Sister earned her B.A. at Eastern Connecticut State University, in Willimantic, CT, and an M.A. in Moral Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, CT. Sister also had the opportunity for additional spiritual and educational classes throughout the years at Holy Family Mother-House in Baltic, CT.

About Mrs. Lussier
Mrs. Lussier holds a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry and a Masters Degree in Teaching. She has dedicated over two decades to helping students explore the wonders of science and the logic of mathematics. She taught high school science for 20 years and middle school math for four years. She has made both subjects meaningful and memorable for her students.
Her classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and every student is supported in discovering their potential. She strives to connect academic concepts to real-world experiences, fostering critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.
She enjoys gardening, reading, and painting --activities that keeps her grounded and sparks creativity in her teaching. Whether she is nurturing plants or ideas, she believes growth comes from hard work, patience, care, and a little bit of wonder.

About Mrs. Brewer
Mrs. Brewer received a Bachelor of Science from Tidewater Community College, Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a minor in Health from Old Dominion University. She has taught 11 years of Physical Education for grades Pre-K - 8th , 11 years of Health Education for middle school, 6 years of Health and Physical Education for High School, 5 years of Art education for grades 1-8 and 15 years of coaching experience (basketball, 4 years volleyball, 15 years CIAC Certifies, She is all sports certified.
She has had the pleasure of having 17 years of teaching experience. She enjoys helping students reach their full potential of building good character and healthier lifestyles through innovative and engaging Health and Physical Education programs. It is her goal to help students maintain healthy habits not only physically but also mentally/emotionally and socially by creating a fun environment that focuses on well-being, safety, and positive relationships. I believe healthy habits equal holistic health. She very grateful to be a part of the wonderful staff and community at St. Joseph School in Baltic.

About Mrs. Harkness
Mrs. Harkness received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Springfield College. She holds a Master's of Education from Sacred Heart University. She has been teaching for over 20 years with St. Mary's Star of the Sea School being her first assignment.
Before becoming a teacher she was the Aquatic Director in Norwich, Mystic and Southington, CT. When she is not working you'll find her at the Lebanon Pool during the summer teaching children and adults how to swim and having fun in the water.
She also is an Instructor and Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross, training candidates in Lifeguarding, Water Safety, First Aid, CPR, Connecticut Child Care and Babysitting Courses.
